A Day in the Life

We are currently looking for a Product Engineer II to join our Aible Clinic Team within Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST). Within the CST Operating Unit, together with our customers, we are moving spine and cranial surgery from an art to a science. By integrating advanced technologies and a patient-centric approach, we can drive improvements in outcomes, efficiency, and overall well-being for millions of people around the world. As an Aible Clinic Engineer II, you will provide clinical, technical, and sales support to surgeons, hospital staff, and sales representatives to design patient-specific implants and drive post-op data analytics. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a technical resource between Medtronic and the medical community. You will be a key partner and will be exposed to sensitive information requiring tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.

Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Utilize proprietary software to provide clinical x-ray measurements, stimulate surgical corrections based on the surgeon’s case plan and personal preferences, design a patient-specific implant based on the planned correction, provide real-time measurement and planning services for high-volume sites, collect post-operative data, and analyze results.
  • Discuss surgical plans with surgeons and their staff.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and sales representatives to manage cases.
  • Act as technical support in the operating room as needed.
  • Provide training support to regional managers.
  • Present postoperative analyses to surgeons.
  • Lead internally driven projects to increase lab efficiencies.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, ensure your profile and resume clearly reflect:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with no experience
Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences: Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering
  • Experience working in a medical environment dealing with spine issues
  • Experience working remotely and managing time effectively
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
