Job summary

Cadence Design Systems is seeking engineers to advance Power Noise Reliability analysis within the Digital Sign-off Group. You will build domain expertise in power integrity, 3DIC analysis and optimization, AI-driven IR mitigation and electrothermal optimization for digital designs.

The role collaborates with R&D to develop these methodologies and support strategic customers across Multiphysics domains, leveraging scripting skills in Python or TCL.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related experience or a Master’s with relevant coursework.
  • Strong understanding of digital logic, CMOS logic, and PDN analysis.
  • Experience with physical design flows and automatic placement and routing tools.
  • Ability to debug IR drop and timing issues; knowledge of Python/TCL scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the product engineering team working on Power Noise Reliability analysis platform within Digital Sign-off Group at Cadence.
  • Develop expertise in power integrity, 3DIC analysis & optimization, AI-driven IR mitigation & fixing methodologies, and electrothermal optimization for digital designs.
  • Work closely with R&D to facilitate development of these methodologies and flows.
  • Support strategic customers and cross-functional product engineering driving solutions in Multiphysics.
