Job summary

Archer is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer to provide manufacturing input during early design phases, drive DFM and DFA assessments, and coordinate with suppliers on tooling and readiness reviews.

You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and design teams, traveling to supplier sites as needed to ensure robust manufacturability and timely project milestones for complex composite and metallic parts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in aerospace engineering (design, mfg eng. tooling design, etc), composite and metallic experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record of driving DFX principles for complex composite part and assembly development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (NX preferred).
• Experience using Fibersim or Composite Workbench.
• Practical application of GD&T and real life execution of inspection processes.

What you need:

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
