Job summary

Freed seeks a Member of Technical Staff to advance the next generation of AI healthcare products. This hands-on role spans the stack, collaborating with clinicians and teammates to transform ambiguous problems into reliable, intuitive experiences.

You’ll own features from concept to launch, craft polished UI with React and TypeScript, develop backend workflows, and prototype quickly with AI-assisted tools, while shaping our engineering practices as we grow.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and ship meaningful features end-to-end.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and product judgment.
• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping or development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own product features end to end, from concept to launch and iteration.
• Build intuitive UI using React, TypeScript, and modern web tech.
• Develop backend functionality, data integrations, and workflows.
• Collaborate with clinicians and product stakeholders to validate solutions.
• Prototype ideas with AI-assisted tools and refine to production quality.
• Make thoughtful technical and product tradeoffs for fast improvements.
• Work with a small team and take significant individual ownership.
• Contribute to shaping Freed’s engineering practices and direction.
