Parallel Partners is seeking a Product Engineer for AI Email Applications. This highly technical, hands-on role requires deep AI/ML expertise and a drive to shape product behavior, evaluation, and user experience in a fully remote setting.

You will work closely with ML and engineering teams to define requirements, run experiments, and iterate quickly while balancing quality, speed, and cost in a zero-to-one environment.

Qualifications

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) experience required.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and system design skills.
• Solid understanding of modern ML and how AI systems behave in production.
• Comfortable reading technical designs and architectures and engaging with engineers.
• Strong intuition for model limitations, evaluation, and failure modes.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered products, especially LLM-based systems.
• Experience with model evaluation, experimentation, prompting, or AI system iteration.

Product Engineer, AI Email Applications, you will work at the intersection of user needs, model capability, and engineering constraints. The Product Engineer will work directly with Machine Learning (ML) and engineering teams to define how the system should behave, how we measure it, and how we continuously improve it. This is a deeply technical, hands-on role. You are expected to understand the system and challenge technical decisions.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are required for this opportunity. This position is 100% Remote.

MUST BE WILLING TO TAKE A 60 MINUTE CODING ASSESSMENT.

• - Define end-to-end requirements for Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, from model behavior to system behavior to user experience.

Product Engineer Qualifications:

• - Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) experience required.

• - Comfortable reading technical designs, understanding architectures, and engaging deeply with engineers.

• - Hands-on experience with AI-powered products, particularly LLM-based systems.

• - Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions when the right answer is not obvious.
• - Highly technical, curious, and comfortable going deep.
• - Strong bias toward shipping, experimentation, and learning from real-world usage.
• - Able to challenge engineers and researchers constructively while maintaining strong collaboration.
• - Comfortable operating with significant ownership in a fast-moving, zero-to-one environment.
• - An engineering background is a strong plus, but what matters most is the ability to reason deeply about - both AI systems and product outcomes.
