Job summary

ALIGN Executive Search is seeking a Product Engineer to help bring high‑performance aerospace components from concept to production. You will work with engineering, tooling, machining, quality, and operations to ensure parts meet design and manufacturability goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, problem solving, and delivering reliable components ready for flight, with a focus on technical accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Product or Process Engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Materials, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Collaborative team player able to work with supervisor or management.
• Effective communication among coworkers, supervisors, and management team.
• Pursue additional certifications as needed for work or career development.
• Investment casting experience in Aerospace or IGT.
• CAD experience, SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, direct, and approve pattern designs to ensure dimensional control and manufacturability.
• Review, direct, and approve constituents to achieve metallurgical property requirements including gating, heat treatment, and sand mold attributes.
• Coordinate technical input from foundry, tool shop and machining into new product developments.
• Support Sales, Customer Service and Quality in discussing casting design specifications and manufacturing methods with customers.
• Provide technical support to Production Supervisors for the manufacture of castings.
• Investigate, take corrective action, determine effectiveness of action and document changes for identified problems.

Summary

The Product Engineer will help bring complex, high-performance aerospace components from concept to production—working alongside talented teams across engineering, tooling, machining, quality, and operations. What you will be doing:

• Review, direct, and approve pattern designs to ensure dimensional control is in accordance with definition requirements and will be consistently met at the most efficient rate of manufacture
• Review, direct, and approve the constituents necessary to achieve metallurgical property requirements including, gating methodology, heat treatment parameters, and sand mold attributes
• Manage and coordinate technical input from the foundry, tool shop and machining department into new product developments
• Support Sales, Customer Service and Quality personnel in interacting with customers regarding technical characteristics of casting design specifications and methods of manufacturing
• Provide technical support to Production Supervisors for the manufacture of castings
• Investigate, take corrective action, determine effectiveness of action and document any associated changes for technical problems that are identified

What you need to qualify:

• 4+years' previous experience in a Productor Process Engineering roles
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Material Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Work well in a collaborative environment to accomplish goals set by supervisor or management
• Ability to communicate effectively among coworkers, supervisors, and management team
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
• Investment casting experience in Aerospace or IGT
• CAD experience, SolidWorks preferred
