Job summary

CentroMotion in Wisconsin is seeking an engineering designer to sustain existing products by guiding designers in daily work and applying standards. You will create prototype drawings by adapting components and designs, delivering manufacturable configurations that meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include developing preliminary drawings from customer requirements, reconfiguring designs and BOMs, ensuring CAD models align with manufacturing capabilities, and supporting change

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2–5 years in design, drafting, or application/configuration engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail within defined design frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into practical designs.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with BOM structures and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Success Metrics:

• Accuracy and manufacturability of released designs
• Turnaround time on prototype drawings/ BOMs
