Job summary

Brainfullstack Ltd. in San Francisco or remote is seeking a senior front-end engineer to own the UI stack end-to-end, from data layer to pixels, with performance and accessibility as constraints rather than aspirations.

You will work with Team Web & Product on TypeScript/React with Next.js, focusing on Core Web Vitals, design systems, and inclusive experiences.

Location San Francisco or remote (UTC-8 to UTC+2)

• Cares about Core Web Vitals without being asked
• Can build to a design system and improve it while doing so
• Accessibility is part of the definition of done

What happens next

• 01 A 30-minute conversation With someone you would actually work with. No recruiter screen, no take-home before we have spoken.
• 02 A paid work session Four hours, paid at contractor rate, on a problem close to real work. You keep whatever you build.
• 03 A deep-dive on your craft Ninety minutes on something you have done before. We ask about the decisions and the parts that went wrong.
• 04 A decision within a week Offer or not, with written feedback either way. We have never taken longer and do not intend to start.

We pay for the work session at contractor rate. Asking for unpaid labour from someone who already has a job is not a fair trade.
