Actalent in Oklahoma City is seeking a Product Engineer to join a growing valve engineering team. You will design, size, and support highly engineered valve products used in oil & gas and process control, collaborating with customers and cross-functional groups.

This role combines product design, valve sizing, technical problem-solving, and manufacturing support while working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.
This is a fully onsite position in the Oklahoma City area. You'll work in a collaborative manufacturing environment alongside engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to support innovative valve and flow control products.
This is a Permanent position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Provide your feedback on BizChat Additional Skills & Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience supporting industrial, oil & gas, refining, or process control applications. Strong proficiency with SolidWorks. Experience performing valve sizing calculations using API 520 standards. Experience performing control valve sizing using ANSI/ISA S75.01 standards. Hands‑on experience with Relief Valves and/or Control Valves. Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. Preferred Qualifications Experience with choke and flow control products from manufacturers such as: Master Flo Cortec Hydroplex Cyclonic Cactus Emerson Experience creating Bills of Materials (BOMs), ECRs, and ECNs. Working knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI/ISA, ISO, and NACE standards. AutoCAD experience. Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Knowledge of metallurgy and welding processes. Previous customer‑facing applications engineering or product support experience. Ideal Candidate Product Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with valve sizing expertise, oil & gas industry experience, and a background supporting relief valves, control valves, regulators, chokes, or pressure relief products in a manufacturing environment.
This is a fully onsite position in Oklahoma City,OK.
