Normal Computing is seeking a Product Engineer (Software Engineer, Full Stack) to develop AI-native products for the semiconductor industry. This role involves designing interfaces and workflows that assist engineers in chip development.
The ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of experience in building full stack products, strong skills in TypeScript and React, and a good grasp of user experience. Collaborate with diverse teams to improve engineering workflows and deliver effective solutions.
The Normal Team builds foundational software and hardware that help move technology forward - supporting the semiconductor industry, critical AI infrastructure, and the broader systems that power our world. We work as one team across New York, San Francisco, Copenhagen, Seoul, and London.
We are hiring a Product Engineer (Software Engineer, Full Stack) to build AI-native products and workflows for semiconductor engineers. This role sits at the intersection of product engineering, AI systems, and developer tooling, designing interfaces and workflows that help hardware teams build and verify chips more efficiently.
You’ll work closely with researchers, hardware engineers, product teams, and end users to prototype and ship new product experiences in one of the world’s most technically demanding industries. Previous experience with the semiconductor or hardware industry is valued, but not required.
This is a highly cross-functional role for engineers who enjoy operating across frontend systems, backend infrastructure, APIs, orchestration layers, and product UX. One day may involve interviewing users and identifying workflow bottlenecks, another may involve building production-ready prototypes that combine LLMs, backend systems, and polished interfaces into working tools engineers can immediately use.
We’re looking for engineers who are comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and solving difficult product problems in highly technical environments.
