Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, NY is seeking an experienced full‑stack engineer to own end‑to‑end product delivery—from UX conversations to code that ships. You will guide product direction and lead frontend architecture in React and TypeScript.

You’ll collaborate with customers, translate feedback into scoped decisions, and apply AI across the development lifecycle. Strong communication and autonomous execution in a fast‑paced team are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building full‑stack applications with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong backend experience: designing APIs, working with PostgreSQL, and managing background jobs and async workflows.
• Solid frontend skills with React.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP) — comfortable with services like S3, media pipelines, and deployment tooling.
• Experience building AI‑driven applications (e.g., prompt engineering, working with LLM APIs, and/or fine‑tuning experience are a plus).
• Can independently lead projects from concept to launch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a keen eye for detail.
• A collaborative mindset, able to work autonomously in a small, fast‑paced team.
