Job Description

General Tasks:

Small project execution. General Operations Support. Documentation generation (specifications, protocols, etc).

The Product Engineer is responsible for providing packaging and labeling development activities from proof of concept to commercialization in the biotech-pharma environment.

The incumbent will interface directly with personnel from all levels of the Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Program Management, Research and Development, Commercial, and Supply Chain organization. The main objective of the Product Development Engineer is to ensure successful resolution of all technical issues and timely implementation of all projects to either launch or maintain a consistent supply of our products to the market.

General requirements: BS or MS degree in engineering is required.

Works well independently as well as in a team.

Years of Experience Minimum 2 years.

Major Duties and responsibilities

  • Identifying opportunities to revise and improve product design or product performance and implementing these improvements
  • Participating in cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Developing testing strategies and completing analysis of product performance/functional data.
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Effective verbal communication is a requirement.
  • Candidate must be able to effectively present information to a variety of audiences.
  • Candidate must also possess excellent technical writing skills.
  • Candidate must be able to effectively analyze data and information.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing programs is preferred.3
