Job summary

Doyle Manufacturing in Palmyra, MO, seeks a project coordination professional to support BOM management, ERP integration, and cross‑functional collaboration between engineering and production. You will help ensure on-time completion, budget adherence, and data-driven decision making in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities span creating action plans, analyzing data, generating reports, and communicating project status to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field with at least 4 years’ equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Inventor and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with BOM management, ERP integration and product configurators.
• Support RMT reports and ensure material accuracy before fabrication.
• Bridge between engineering and production providing floor support and troubleshooting.
• As ERP/BOM work stabilizes, contribute to design and development responsibilities.
• Create action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
• Analyze data and make recommendations.
• Develop and produce reports of study data for project staff and stakeholders.
• Inform leadership of project status regularly.
• Use network analysis tools to recommend changes based on trends.
• Generate, interpret, and print assigned reports.
• Ensure technical documentation is reviewed and available timely.
• Measure progress and coordinate implementation of the project plan.
• Serve as liaison across internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop tools/methods to organize, standardize, and manage activities.
• Keep knowledge up to date with new processes and procedures.
• Work on multiple projects independently.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Provides support to deliver all aspects of a project to ensure all aspects of the project are carried out, cared for, finished on time, correct, and within the allotted timeframe and budget.

Role And Responsibilities (as Requested)

• Assists with BOM management, ERP integration, and product configurators.
• Supports RMT reports, ensuring material accuracy before fabrication.
• Works as a bridge between engineering and production, providing floor support and troubleshooting.
• As ERP/BOM work stabilizes, this role will combine design and development responsibilities.

• Inform leadership of project status on an ongoing basis.
• Use network analysis tools and observation techniques to recommend changes based on trends.
• Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.

• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
• Costing reports for requested products to support costing templates and ERP pricing.
• Support sales quoting templates by validating component and part costs to improve pricing accuracy.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field with at least 4 years’ equivalent experience in manufacturing.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Office environment – will require extensive use of a computer including keyboard, mouse and other electronic tools which will require the use both hands.
• While working in the plant, may be exposed to extreme heat, cold, humidity, dusty environment, vibrations, noise, etc.
• Must be able to climb stairs/ladders, stoop, bend, and kneel while looking at equipment.
• Must be able to be able to work at a computer for several hours using both hands (taking intermittent breaks as needed).
• Must ware required PPE – hardhat, safety glasses, steel toed shoes, hearing protection, high visibility clothing (or vest), gloves or other specialized PPE depending on the job or circumstances.
