Job summary

A leading electrical solutions provider in Rockford, Michigan is looking for a skilled engineering professional to manage product design and development. The successful candidate will interact with customers, coordinate product introductions, and provide manufacturing support. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's in engineering and have at least 3 years of related experience. Proficiency in 3D CAD software is preferred. Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers to determine viability of projects and propose solutions
• Coordinates new product introductions from concept to production
• Plans and directs personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment
• Designs products to interface with machines, hardware, and software
• Evaluates equipment and processes to support manufacturing
• Supports corporate objectives related to patents and trademarks

Mechanical and electrical product design

Project management

Customer interaction and communication skills

Product manufacturing experience

Proficient in design and manufacturability of various mediums

Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (ProE/Creo preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technologies
