Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Duffield, VA is seeking an engineering/production-support professional to help with VE and new launch programs, assist with production processes, and oversee prototypes and plant pilots for VE or new product launches. The role involves sample testing across ISO/2439 type tests, core tester operations, data reporting, shipment coordination, and basic maintenance.

Proficiency with Office, ERP systems, and safe material handling is required; occasional forklift and driving duties

Qualifications

Proficient with office software and ERP systems.
Familiarity with manufacturing/quality testing environments is beneficial.
Experience with data reporting and document management.

Responsibilities

Responsible for VE and new launch programs as needed.
Support new production processes and launches to ensure product meets design, safety, and quality specifications.
Administering prototype, manufacturing & plant pilots for VE or new product launches; travel to plants or suppliers as needed.
Perform sample testing and quality checks across multiple test areas to ensure product meets requirements.
Manage shipments and prepare reports for engineers; assist with QA and testing activities.
Assist with general manufacturing engineering responsibilities, including material handling and equipment setup.
