Job summary

1000 Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a skilled engineer to collaborate on Design-for-Test and improve product quality in Boise, Idaho. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, along with in-depth knowledge of DRAM architecture and experience in circuit-level simulation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (accepted).
• In-depth knowledge of DRAM architecture and functionality.
• Experience with circuit-level simulation and debug.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Perl, Unix, Batch, or Python).
• Hands-on experience operating a tester and using lab equipment.
• Ability to analyze data from various sources—test results, production metrics, customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Leads and Engineering to improve product quality.
• Validate device performance to define and debug test patterns.
• Interpret device functionality specific to semiconductor memory products.
• Coordinate with teams to provide test guidance that improves quality and yield.
• Propose new DFT architectures for future quality and efficiency.
• Debug and identify root causes of failures.
• Modify testing strategies to enhance yield.
• Lead the team in resolving technical challenges.
