KRAFT ENERGY SYSTEMS INC is seeking a mechanical design engineer to develop and improve products. You will create models, drawings, and BOMs, and address feasibility, optimization, and production challenges while ensuring costs, margins, and release dates are met.

The role requires knowledge of manufacturing processes and strong communication skills; travel is occasionally needed. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Three years of industry-related experience.
• Three years’ experience in SolidWorks.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, materials, programming software, and Microsoft Office.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the mechanical design, development, and improvements of new or existing products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Originates and/or develops designs for products relating to defined project specifications.


2. Creates mechanical models and drawings of product line.


3. Creates mechanical bill-of-materials of product design.


4. Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design evaluation/optimization, and production issues.


5. Responsible for meeting project costs/margins and target release dates.


6. Understands lean manufacturing concepts and initiates process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


7. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred or bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years relevant experience.


• Experience: Three years of industry-related experience. Three years’ experience in SolidWorks.


• Skills and Abilities: Ability to clearly develop ideas in the form of working models and drawings. Must be familiar with a variety of manufacturing processes, materials, programming software, business systems, and Microsoft Office software programs. Strong verbal and written communications skills.


• Responsibilities: Requires occasional travel.
