Job summary

IBG (Innovative Beauty Group) is seeking a Product Developer/Project Manager for the New York team. You will manage new launches for turnkey, stock packaging and fragrance, ensuring on-time delivery at target margins while meeting customer quality and timing expectations.

You will organize kickoff meetings, source packaging and formulas, vet vendors, negotiate costs, prepare costing sheets, and coordinate across internal and external teams to maintain timelines and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management or product development.
• Formulation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize kickoff meetings with Sales, Quality & NPD management and define best approach.
• Source accessory, packaging and/or formula based on client brief.
• Source and vet vendors compatible with project and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to hit IBG target margins and client price.
• Prepare costing sheets and monitor target margin.
• Request samples and compare for quality and performance before submission.
• Coordinate with Quality/Regulatory to ensure formula compliance.
• Manage and lead new WON projects to meet targets.
• Lead internal and external communications.
• Create, monitor and communicate Timeline/Critical Path.

IBG North America specializes in turnkey solutions, private label and packaging in the beauty industry. Together, we are concept builders and boosters with global opportunities for well‑known retailers and brands.

We are currently looking for a Product Developer/Project Manager to join our New York Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing new launches for full turnkey, stock packaging and fragrance to insure on time delivery, at a targeted margin, within respect of the customers quality & timing expectations.

In this role, you will:

• Organize Kick off meeting with Sales, Quality & NPD management (once brief is assigned) & define best approach (approved vendors, risk assessment…etc)
• Source accessory, packaging and/or formula based on customer brief.
• Source and vet vendors compatible with project and regulatory requirements
• Negotiate with suppliers to get the right cost to meet IBG target margins & customer target price
• Prepare Costing sheets & monitor target margin.
• Request samples and compare for quality and performance before submitting to customer.
• Work with Quality/Regulatory team to ensure formula meets customer blacklist and is compliant with country of sell.
• Manage & lead new WON projects to meet expected target.
• Lead Communication between with Internal & External teams
• Create, monitor & communicate Timeline/Critical Path with Internal & External Teams

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Cosmetics, Fashion Management, Business/Marketing
• 3-5 years experience in a previous project management or product development role
• Previous experience with formulation strongly preferred
• Project planning experienceand have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience working with fragrance houses, international factories and vendors strongly preferredWorking knowledge of Wrike, and ClickUp or other Project Management tools is an asset
• Previous experience in beauty or personal care considered an asset
