Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Product Designer III to craft collector-facing experiences for the Collector Engagement team. You will partner with Product, Engineering and Brand to shape progression, redemption, leaderboards, and check-in moments across live events and retail environments.

The role emphasizes making complex rules legible, building reusable components, and collaborating daily with frontend engineers. Strong English, mobile design expertise, and a design-system mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional product design experience.
• Portfolio with shipped consumer mobile work and end-to-end flows.
• Ability to design rules-based or state-heavy experiences like progression/loyalty.
• Proficient in Figma, building components and variables.
• Experience with an established design system and mobile patterns.
• Excellent English communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Design/HCI or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype and deliver end-to-end experiences for collector programs.
• Create collector-facing surfaces where multiple programs coexist without clutter.
• Clarify rules-based mechanics: eligibility, progress, rewards, expiry.
• Design physical-to-digital handoffs like scanning and check-ins in tough environments.
• Build reusable components and patterns for program surfaces.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on feasibility and handoff.
• Partner with Product to define program mechanics and scope.
• Contribute to accessibility, localization readiness, and consistency.
• Validate designs with collectors and telemetry, iterate results.
• Support design critique and stay current with mobile patterns.
