Fivetran in Oakland/Denver is hiring a product designer to craft user-centered experiences for our data infrastructure products. You will work in a hybrid setup with teammates in design, research, product, and engineering to deliver delightful, practical solutions.

You bring 3+ years in product design, a strong portfolio, and the ability to turn research insights into concrete designs. You thrive in ambiguity and own end-to-end design outcomes.

• 3+ years of product design experience with at least 1 year in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise products.
• A portfolio showing strong process and design outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland or Denver office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do

• Create compelling designs for features with real complexity, in deep partnership with user researchers, product designers, product managers, and engineers who are passionate about the user’s experience.
• Use research and data to understand our users deeply, build empathy for their needs, advocate for them, and deliver impactful experiences that connect their goals to business needs.
• Shape product direction by partnering closely on requirements discussions with stakeholders.
• Bring a point of view and advocate for great UX, even when it’s hard, by identifying opportunities to improve the user experience and championing your ideas.
• Drive repeated, measurable improvement in key product metrics by iterating quickly, testing early, and refining based on feedback and data.
• Approach designs from a systems perspective, developing patterns that get adopted by others.
• Contribute elements of UX strategy for your product area, with some direction from your manager and team lead.
• Use AI and automation tools to improve delivery velocity.
• 3+ year product design experience with at 1+ year in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise products
• A portfolio that shows strong process and design outcomes.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to bring your ideas to life.

The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role. Oakland Pay Range

$157,103 — $188,531 USD
