Oscar Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Product Designer to shape the ICHRA experience within the Lucie Marketplace, collaborating with PMs, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

You will own end-to-end design from discovery to high-fidelity delivery, apply user research, evolve Anatomy design language, and use AI tools like Claude Code and Figma to accelerate handoffs while maintaining user empathy.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in product or UX design.
• 2+ concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web and mobile interfaces.
• 2+ years of direct stakeholder management experience.
• Strong portfolio showing complex enterprise software, data-heavy platforms, or workforce management tools.

• Design and ship tools that help employers manage health plan contributions for their employees across the Lucie ecosystem.
• Own the design process end-to-end, from initial discovery through high-fidelity delivery, across multiple technical domains.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, tech leads, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align on strategy and solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, generating actionable insights to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to and evolve Oscar's design language system (Anatomy), bringing the Oscar brand into product experiences.
• Participate in design critiques and contribute thoughtfully to the broader design team.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code alongside Figma to streamline the design-to-engineering handoff.

The company combines insurance products with consumer-grade digital tools and a strong operational focus on member care.### The roleThis Product Designer role sits within the Lucie Marketplace team, which spans a direct enrollment platform for brokers, a consumer marketplace, and ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement) tooling. You would focus primarily on shaping the ICHRA experience while contributing to the other areas as needed. You would partner closely with a Senior Product Designer and report into the SVP, Product, Design, Data.### What you would do* Design and ship tools that help employers manage health plan contributions for their employees across the Lucie ecosystem.* Own the design process end-to-end, from initial discovery through high-fidelity delivery, across multiple technical domains.* Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, tech leads, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align on strategy and solutions.* Conduct user research and usability testing, generating actionable insights to inform design decisions.* Contribute to and evolve Oscar's design language system (Anatomy), bringing the Oscar brand into product experiences.* Participate in design critiques and contribute thoughtfully to the broader design team.* Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code alongside Figma to streamline the design-to-engineering handoff.### What they are looking for* 4 or more years of experience in product or UX design.* At least 2 concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web and mobile interfaces.* 2 or more years of direct stakeholder management experience.* A strong visual design portfolio with a track record of designing complex enterprise software, data-intensive platforms, or workforce management tools.* Ability to work autonomously while balancing execution speed with user empathy.* Comfort with modern design workflows including AI-assisted tools and Figma.* Bonus: experience in the healthcare space, storytelling techniques such as animated prototypes or user flow diagrams, interest in design ethics and accessibility, experience with user research and prototyping, and ability to translate requirements and research into clear UI.### Working arrangementsThis position is based in Oscar's Los Angeles office on a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days in the office per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events; the other two office days are flexible.### Pay and benefitsThe base pay range for this role is $123,372 - $161,926 per year. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan participation, life and disability insurance, paid wellness time and reimbursements, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
