About The Role

We’re looking for a talented Junior Product Designer with a passion for field research and discovery. You’ll support the design of features for our SaaS platform while developing your skills under the mentorship of senior team members. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, naturally curious about users in their environments, and excited about helping elevate our organization’s design maturity through collaborative workshops and user-centered design practices.

This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Pittsburgh, PA. It may require up to 25% travel.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting user research, including field observations and interviews
• Support the facilitation of design workshops with cross‑functional teams
• Create wireframes and prototypes based on research insights
• Help synthesize user feedback and research findings into actionable design decisions
• Contribute to the implementation of our design system
• Participate in team design critiques and help document design processes
• Support efforts to educate the broader organization on design thinking and user‑centered design

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• 0–2 years of experience in product or UX design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your design thinking, research interests, and collaborative approach
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma preferred)
• Eagerness to learn field research methods and workshop facilitation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Natural curiosity about users and their environments
• Passion for elevating design practices across teams

Desired Skills

• Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment
• Experience with enterprise or B2B software
• Previous participation in field research activities
• Familiarity with design thinking workshop methods
• Understanding of basic accessibility principles
