The ideal candidate has 3+ years in digital product design, a strong portfolio, and comfort prototyping in code. Location options include NYC or SF; base salary ranges from $120,000 to $250,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products in a startup or fast-moving company.
• Strong generalist able to own the full design stack from flows to pixels.
• Craft and execution emphasize clarity, simplicity, and quality.
• Entrepreneurial and product-thinking mindset.
• Experience prototyping AI tools or plugins (e.g., Figma plugins).
• Collaborates with PMs, engineers, and data scientists to solve problems.
• Portfolio shows thoughtful problem-solving and high-quality visuals.

Responsibilities

• Design core product experiences end to end, from exploration through launch.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate strategy into solutions.
• Explore directions via sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Fine tune layout shifts, typography, spacing, motion, and interactions.
• Balance user needs with technical constraints and business goals.
• Use feedback and product intuition to refine the product over time.
• Contribute to design language, systems, and product vision.
• Participate in weekly design critiques.
