Job summary

Anthropic is seeking designers who ship fast and stay in motion to shape UX for AI-powered products. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers and other stakeholders to define vision, strategy and roadmaps, and to ship new features.

You’ll prototype across code and design, refine interactions, and craft polished interfaces that build trust in our technology, while staying close to the models and evolving patterns for AI.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping complex workflows for enterprise/B2B SaaS or API products end-to-end.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end on large products in ambiguous environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

We're looking for designers who ship fast and stay in motion—people who would rather get something in front of users this week than perfect it for a month. You're excited to question fundamental UI assumptions and invent patterns that feel native to AI, and you're already using tools like Claude Code to extend what you can build. You pay attention to where model capabilities are heading, not just what Claude can do today, and you find ways to keep caring about the pixels, the copy, and the edge cases while shipping quickly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping complex workflows, enterprise/B2B SaaS, developer tools, or API products end-to-end.
• Proven track record of executing end-to-end on large and complex products, or a series of products, in ambiguous environments.
• A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code as a creative partner in your own design practice.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience prototyping with front-end code (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS).
• Passion for crafting scaled, highly impactful, safe and beneficial artificial intelligence technologies to enable new possibilities.

The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.

For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

Annual Salary

$305,000-385,000 USD

Logistics

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
