Job summary

Valence in New York City is seeking a Product Designer to join their innovative product-design-engineering team. You'll be responsible for designing end-to-end features across their AI coaching platform while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design skills. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Experience shipping product on a small team.
• Solid grounding in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
• Familiarity with design systems.
• Comfortable working in fast cycles with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end features across Valence's core product.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system for product consistency.
• Work closely with product and engineering in weekly cycles.
• Participate in design critiques and working sessions.
• Write product copy and micro-interactions.
