As a Product Designer within the PayPal.com team, you will help create new design assets to re-create our new redesign for the PayPal Giving Fund website. You will own the site design refresh from concept to completion and deliver the best possible marketing website experience for charities worldwide.

You will report to the Design Director of PayPal.com and be part of our diverse Global Design Organization, which uses design and research skills to inspire and influence across the company. We believe that diverse perspectives and backgrounds foster innovation and inclusion in our product design. We advocate for meaningful and engaging experiences for our global customers and support each other in learning and growth.

Your daily tasks will include trans-creating our PayPal Giving Fund website into a visually engaging experience using our new PayPal.com design system. Your ability to bring your vision and concepts to life will be highly valued.

A key aspect of your role is balancing business needs, design excellence, and customer satisfaction, aligning with our brand’s purpose, business goals, and user needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Create visual design assets in Figma for how the PayPal Giving Fund programs work for charities globally.
  2. Own your project from initial concept to completion, managing timelines and reviews.
  3. Generate design concepts, prototypes, final designs, and post-production assets for development.
  4. Collaborate with other designers to ensure a consistent brand perception and user experience.
  5. Work with cross-functional teams including product managers, content writers, and engineers.
  6. Translate business requirements, user needs, and technical specifications into compelling, user-friendly designs.
  7. Stay updated on the latest visual design trends and standards.
  8. Design presentations that tell a compelling story rooted in user jobs-to-be-done (JTBD).

Basic Qualifications

  1. At least two years of professional experience designing web, desktop, and mobile visual experiences.
  2. High level of visual design craftsmanship.
  3. Well-organized, responsible, and capable of managing tasks on time.
  4. Self-motivated learner, quick to adapt to new tools and environments.
  5. Proficient in Figma, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design or related field.
  7. Experience with motion design in Adobe After Effects is a plus.

This position offers a pay range of $53.03/hour to $70.70/hour.
