Job summary

Sama is seeking an experienced Product Designer for a part-time/contract role. You will design end-to-end product experiences, collaborate with marketing for brand-consistent assets, and contribute to a scalable design system. Remote across Europe, with a focus on SaaS products.

The role emphasizes user-centered design, strong portfolio, proficiency in Figma, and ability to work autonomously in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional product design experience, preferably SaaS.
• Experience with marketing design, branding, or motion graphics.
• Experience working in startups.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered product design and visual aesthetics.
• Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma).
• Understanding of design systems and component-driven design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for key product areas from discovery through delivery.
• Translate user needs, business goals, and constraints into elegant solutions.
• Create wireframes, flows, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to implement ideas.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system for consistency and scalability.
• Design marketing materials like landing pages, ads, and campaign assets.
• Support sales with presentations and collateral; ensure brand cohesion across product and marketing.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our growing team on a part time/contract basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging product experiences that delight our users — from concept to delivery. You will also collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure brand consistency across the full customer journey, contributing to assets such as landing pages, sales decks, and campaign visuals.

What you'll be doing:

Product Design (Primary Focus)

• Own end-to-end design for key product areas, from discovery through delivery
• Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into elegant solutions
• Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to bring ideas to life
• Participate in user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistency and scalability

Marketing Sales Design (Secondary Focus)

• Design marketing materials that align with the product brand, such as landing pages, ads, and campaign assets
• Collaborate with the marketing team to refine and elevate our visual storytelling
• Support the sales team with design for presentations, one-pagers, and other collateral
• Ensure brand cohesion across digital product, web, and sales experiences

Requirements

Note: this job is remote, and we are open to candidates across Europe.

What you'll need to succeed:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in product design, ideally within SaaS
• Experience with marketing design, branding, or motion graphics
• Experience working in start-ups
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered product design and a solid visual design aesthetic
• Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile applications
• Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design/prototyping tools)
• Understanding of design systems and component-driven design
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
