Job summary

White Circle is seeking a Product Designer to turn complex AI safety workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces for engineering and research teams. You will own design end-to-end, evolving our Figma design system, updating screens, and creating new flows while prototyping interactions.

You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and research to ship quickly. The role emphasizes ownership, rapid iteration, and the ability to influence how AI safety is built, offering a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Figma including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping, and Design Systems.
• Designed clear, functional web interfaces for technical products.
• Able to create basic animations with preferred tools.
• Uses AI tools in daily workflow.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the Figma design system for consistency, scalability, and ease of use.
• Update existing screens and design new flows for upcoming features.
• Collaborate directly with product, engineering, and research for fast iteration and ownership.

TL;DR: We're looking for a Product Designer to turn complex AI safety workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces used by engineering and research teams every day. You'll own design end to end: evolve our Figma design system, improve existing screens, create new product flows, prototype interactions, and work closely with product, engineering, and research to ship quickly.

What you'll do

• Evolve the Figma design system so it stays consistent, scalable, and easy to work with.

• Update current screens and design new flows for upcoming features.

• Work directly with product, engineering, and research - fast iterations and full ownership.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years working with Figma: Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping, Design Systems.

• You've designed clear, functional web interfaces, ideally for technical products.

• You can create basic animations with any tools you prefer.

• You use AI tools in your own workflow.
