ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a versatile Product Designer with strong surface-pattern, illustration, color, and graphic-design skills. The ideal candidate can develop original artwork and translate creative concepts into commercially successful products for mass-market retailers. In this role, you will:

• Create original surface patterns, prints, illustrations, graphics, and product concepts.
• Apply artwork and design concepts to bags, pouches, accessories, and a variety of hard and soft goods.
• Develop trend-right color palettes, themes, collections, and coordinated product assortments.
• Create detailed sketches, renderings, technical artwork, and digital presentations that clearly communicate design concepts.
• Research market trends, consumer preferences, colors, materials, and emerging product categories.
• Collaborate closely with the design, sales, and product-development teams to align concepts with customer needs and project goals.
• Work with overseas factory partners, particularly in China, to ensure designs can be manufactured while maintaining their intended appearance, quality, and functionality.
• Prepare and revise production-ready artwork, layouts, specifications, and product presentations.
• Refine designs based on feedback from internal teams, customers, and factory partners.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines and deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• Strong surface-pattern design and illustration skills.
• Proven experience creating original artwork and adapting it across multiple product categories.
• Experience designing products for manufacturing and mass-market production.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent understanding of color, composition, print development, layout, and current design trends.
• Strong sketching, rendering, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production requirements, and factory constraints.
• Ability to interpret customer direction and develop commercially relevant product concepts.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

BA/BFA Degree in Design or Graphic Field with 4+ years of design experience
