Job summary

The Art Source, Inc. is seeking a Product Designer to craft collections inspired by Hawai‘i’s island life and local culture.

You’ll drive the design process from concept to production, with hands-on work in our on-site factory and integration across CocoNene, Pictures Plus, and Plus Interiors. Join a local family business with state-of-the-art machinery, a collaborative team, and opportunities to grow your design portfolio across multiple brands in O‘ahu.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of graphic or product design experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong vector art and typography skills.
• Excellent color, layout, and detail eye.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects on deadline.
• Collaborative and clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Design new collections that celebrate island life and local culture.
• See designs in CocoNene stores across the islands.
• Own collections and contribute to team growth.
• Research trends and identify product opportunities.
• Create mockups, samples, and production-ready art.
• Design custom pieces for business clients.
• Learn machines and materials for production readiness.

• Research trends and spot new product opportunities
• Create mockups, samples, and production-ready art
• Create custom designs for business clients
• Learn our machines and materials so your designs are ready for production
• Work hands-on with laser, UV, and sublimation in our on-site factory
• Support projects across CocoNene and Pictures Plus
