Job summary

Meta designs experiences that empower billions to connect, build communities, and grow businesses. As a Product Designer, you will shape end-to-end user experiences across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more, from brainstorming to launch, leveraging product, interaction, and visual design skills.

You will influence high-level strategy with product and executive partners, conduct usability studies, and lead design efforts with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, CS, or a related field.
• 4+ years designing complex software products with focus on UX, interaction and visuals.
• Experience conducting advanced usability testing and gathering stakeholder feedback.
• Experience developing and presenting design strategies to exec stakeholders.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes.

Product Designer Responsibilities

1. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2 billion plus users

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field

2. 4+ years designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives

3. Experience conducting advanced usability testing and gathers feedback from varied stakeholders to inform product strategy

4. Experience developing and implementing design strategies, leads design efforts, and presents to executive-level stakeholders

5. Proficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience connecting your work with other related initiatives across the company while driving collaboration

2. Examples of leadership in non-product dimensions that have made a team stronger and positively impacted the work environment such as taking on mentorship opportunities

3. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

4. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

5. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
