Job summary

Meta in Burlingame, CA is seeking a Product Designer to shape experiences for billions of users. You will own end-to-end design from concept to launch, collaborating with product managers, engineers and researchers to craft valuable, usable interfaces at scale.

You will lead complex projects, contribute to visual systems, and explore AI-driven workflow optimizations while upholding ethical AI practices and high craft.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing complex software products, end to end.
• Experience conducting complex research studies and drives business growth through design-led innovation.
• Experience leading end-to-end development efforts with XFN teams and roadmaps.
• Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques, including functional prototypes.

Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 6+ years of experience designing complex software products, end to end, with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
2. Experience conducting complex research studies and drives business growth through design-led innovation
3. Experience leading end-to-end development efforts, drives progress with Cross Functional Partner (XFN) teams, develops design roadmaps, and makes high-impact decisions balancing user needs with business growth objectives
4. Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques, such as creating functional prototypes or using emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience showcasing your end-to-end design process across multiple projects, that include interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes
2. Experience connecting your work with other related initiatives across the company while driving collaboration
3. Proven leadership in non-product dimensions that have made a team stronger and positively impacted the work environment
4. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
5. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
6. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

$170,000/year to $236,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
