Job summary

Sleeper is seeking a designer who can own end-to-end design execution across platforms, delivering pixel-perfect mockups and prototypes for engineers. You will contribute to and extend our design system while collaborating with product and engineering in a fast-paced environment.

We value a strong portfolio, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. A degree in HCI, UI/UX or Psychology is preferred, and you’ll join a small, passionate team that designs with rigor and curiosity.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio or sample work showcasing design foundations.
• Willingness to learn and grow in product design.
• Solid understanding of UX, interaction and visual design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own all design execution and deliver high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for engineering.
• Create design solutions that utilize design systems and contribute to the design system.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and others in a fast-paced environment.
• Push the boundaries of innovation within a small, mighty design team.

Job description

• We are willing to pick up a new sport or try out computer games together, for the purpose of “research”
• We work hard and play hard – we’re passionate and meticulous about our craft, but we also set time aside to have fun together
• We can see design everywhere and every day – we do annual trips to design-workshop together
• Design experiences across all of our platforms – iOS, Android, Web, Tablet
• Collaborate frequently with other designers in ideation sessions and receive feedback and mentorship from more senior designers
• Own all aspects of design execution and create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes so engineers can ship your pixel-perfect designs
• Create design solutions that utilize design systems, and contribute to the development of our design system
• Be part of a small but mighty design team pushing the boundaries of innovation!
