Patreon is seeking a Product Design Intern in a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York. The 12-week summer program runs May–August 2027 or June–September 2027, with graduates between December 2027 and June 2028. You’ll work with a world-class product team to ship impactful features for creators and learn from mentors.

You’ll join an intern cohort and participate in professional development and fun events while contributing to the creator economy’s growth.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX, HCI, or a related field.
• Creative portfolio showing experience bridging product strategy with design execution through user-centered design.
• Foundation in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• You’re curious, enjoy experimenting with new ideas, and are excited to build from 0 to 1.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow through feedback.
• Genuine passion for Patreon’s mission and supporting the creator economy.

Job description

Patreon is a media and community platform where over 300,000 creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases.

We're continuing to invest in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Product Design Intern to support our mission.

This role is based in San Francisco or New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 3 days per week on a hybrid work model.

Our summer internship is a 12-week program running May–August 2027 or June–September 2027. This internship is designed for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.

The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role’s job family. The final offer will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon’s leveling framework.
