Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Product Design Intern for a 12-week paid summer program in the San Francisco / Seattle area. You will join a team that tackles complex data and AI challenges and learn under a dedicated mentor alongside a cohort of interns and leaders from across the company.

You will gain hands-on experience by collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and account teams to drive end-to-end design processes from discovery through prototyping for engineering implementation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a design or HCI degree with an expected graduation date Dec 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong interaction design skills and user-centered design knowledge.
• Ability to build interactive prototypes using up-to-date AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features for the Databricks platform.
• Manage projects end-to-end from discovery to final design prototype for engineering.
• Conduct user research to understand needs and improve design.
