Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Wooster, OH invites a mechanical design engineer to contribute to the development of competitive products. You will build the mechanical system structure from architecture and risk analysis, decompose into subsystems, and craft detailed specifications for robust, reusable designs.

You will ensure traceability with the mechanical architecture and manage configurations, collaborating across teams to deliver reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1 year of experience.
• Applicable engineering & physics knowledge.
• Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
• Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer.
• Understanding of modelling and simulating of electric or mechatronic systems.
• Excellent communication ability (written & verbal).
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities
