Job summary

CPC is seeking a design engineer in Minnesota to develop products from concept to launch and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves interaction with customers and internal stakeholders to drive successful product delivery.

The position requires a mechanical engineering degree with 2+ years of design experience and proficiency in CAD tools like Creo/SolidWorks, along with strong communication skills and a drive for problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 2+ years of design and product development experience.
• Must be a curious, creative, tenacious problem solver with strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop products from conceptualization to launch.
• Collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers for new product development.
• Partner with Sales, Applications, and Marketing to serve OEM markets.
• Maintain high interaction with customers, sales managers, and application engineers.
• Lead or assist in resolving product performance issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and CPC core values.
• Support ISO, ASI, and other certifications as needed.
