Job summary

S.S. White Technologies, Inc. in Florida seeks a full-time Mechanical Engineer to design tools and implants for orthopedic devices.

You will develop new tools, prepare detailed drawings, and validate processes for a medical device division. You should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, hands-on tooling experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks. Experience in orthopedics is essential; machining and material selection knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Keen understanding of the workings and designing of standard hand tools/power tools.

• Utilize inquisitive and/or outside-the-box thinking
• Good computer skills in engineering software such as SolidWorks
• Minimum educational level: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Orthopedics is a must
• Background in machining and material selection a plus

engineers who last year alone, filed for 16 patents.
