Job summary

ITT Inc. is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Product Design Engineer with 7+ years of experience in connector design to join the ITT Cannon Connectors North America team.

You will design components, manage BOMs and collaborate across Product Engineering, Operations and Field Applications using CREO and GD&T.

A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is required; ITAR U.S. person status applies. Competitive salary and full benefits are offered.

Position Summary

ITT Inc. is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Product Design Engineer with mid to high level development experience in the circular and rectangular military connector industry to join the ITT Cannon Connectors North America team

Essential Responsibilities

• General engineering product setup, design and management
• Engineering BOM creation, documentation creation and updates
• Design of new components and assemblies
• Manage and plan multiple activities related to Engineering, Product Management and Operational support for new product development
• Multi-functional team member representing Product Engineering
• Testing support and overview within a Product Evaluation Lab
• Work closely with Field Application Engineering
• Requires visibility to export controlled documents and information

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience in Electro-Mechanical product design in connectors
• CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/Documentation experience
• ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including GD&T
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Highly self-motivated and a willingness to make a difference
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different departments.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in electrical connectors and the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Experience in Filters, Hermetic, Fiber Optics, Micro-miniature and/or High-Speed Data transfer a plus

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual Salary Range is $115,100 to $171,900, plus benefits and incentive plans.
