Replit seeks a Director of Product Design to lead the day-to-day operations of its Product Design organization, reporting to the Co-Founder & Head of Design. This hands-on leader guides a talented design team while remaining deeply involved in the work.

You'll build structure, alignment, and momentum, surfacing context for thoughtful, high-impact decisions and shaping the customer journey across products.

Qualificações

• Significant experience leading product design teams in high-growth technology companies.
• Portfolio demonstrating craft, interaction design, and systems thinking.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to deliver technically sophisticated products.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bias toward action and strong design judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day operations of Replit's Product Design organization, ensuring work is aligned, prioritized, and delivered to a high standard.
• Mentor and develop a team of product designers, helping them grow their craft, confidence, and impact.
• Shape and elevate the customer journey.
• Work alongside designers daily by whiteboarding ideas, exploring alternatives, reviewing progress, and solving complex design challenges.
• Stay informed on active initiatives to surface context and insights for design critique and high-impact decisions.
• Raise the quality of product design through thoughtful feedback and strong design taste.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard exceptional product design talent as the organization grows.
