THE ROLE
At GLDN, product is at the heart of everything we do.
The Design Coordinator plays a key role in bringing new jewelry collections to life. Working closely with our founder and within the product team, this role supports the journey from concept to launch—helping organize development, coordinate samples, gather customer insights, and ensure every new product is thoughtfully executed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development Support
- Help track new products from concept through launch, ensuring key milestones stay on schedule, using Figma, Google Sheets, and Asana
- Support the Product Team in developing new jewelry collections and product extensions.
- Coordinate vendor communication, sample requests, and development timelines.
- Maintain development tools, calendars, and documentation that keep projects moving smoothly.
- Review vendor quotes and cost information and support margin analysis for new product opportunities.
Product Insights & Trend Analysis
- Analyze product performance and customer feedback to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and insights.
- Create weekly reporting on top sellers, product launches, customer favorites, and inventory opportunities.
- Gather feedback from Customer Service, Ecommerce, and Social channels to help inform future product decisions.
- Use AI and analytical tools to identify recurring customer themes and product opportunities.
Digital Asset Management
- Help maintain the digital foundation of GLDN’s product development process across Figma, Asana, Google Sheets, and other product tools.
- Maintain product swatch libraries, renderings, and development assets to ensure teams are working from accurate and up-to-date information.
- Support product launch readiness by tracking key dates, product information, estimated ship dates (ETS), and estimated arrival dates (ETA).
- Ensure product information, digital assets, and launch documentation remain organized, accurate, and accessible across teams.
- Partner with Product, Brand, and Ecommerce teams to keep product assets aligned throughout the development and launch process.
Design Studio & Sample Library Management
- Help maintain an organized, inspiring, and highly functional product design workspace.
- Manage the product sample library, ensuring samples, prototypes, and work-in-progress pieces are organized and easy to access.
- Support design reviews, collection planning meetings, and product development sessions by preparing materials and samples as needed.
- Ensure development pieces, samples, and reference products are properly cataloged, stored, and returned to inventory when appropriate.
- Contribute to creating a creative environment that supports collaboration, experimentation, and product innovation.
- Coordinate with vendors as necessary
Creative & Photoshoot Support
- Help prepare products for photoshoots, campaigns, and launches.
- Coordinate sample selection, sizing, and product readiness.
- Support styling, organization, and day‑of logistics during photoshoots.
- Assist in maintaining accurate product assets and creative documentation.
- Prepare product for photoshoots, ensuring the correct pieces are sourced, confirmed, and in proper condition and the right size for the model; locate pieces through Sample Library, Customer Returns or by ordering from Vendors as needed.Ensure Samples are ready for photoshoots, escalating when necessary.
- Support photoshoot execution by keeping product organized, managing wardrobe, steaming items, and assisting with day‑of logistics.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Able to learn and navigate design and communication tools including Figma
- Comfortable with communication tools includingSlack.
- Clear and confident communicator across multiple teams and channels; skilled at synthesizing information and communicating it concisely.
- Takes initiative, follows through independently, and manages competing priorities with good judgment.
- Capable of taking clear, quality product photographs with a smartphone.
- Curious and resourceful; comfortable leveraging AI tools to support data tracking, pattern recognition, and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Jewelry Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in a product, design, merchandising, fashion, retail, ecommerce, or creative environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for jewelry, fashion, design, and consumer products.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace; experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or product development tools is a plus.
- Experience with jewelry is not required—we’re looking for curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative, product‑driven environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to report on‑site in La Conner, WA as required.
- Familiarity with jewelry, product development, or ecommerce a plus.
- Leads by example and contributes to a positive, collaborative team culture.
