Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Deployment Engineer for Measurement Services to advise customers and translate needs into scalable technical specifications. Based in the USA, you will bridge customer requests with Google’s offerings and contribute to high-impact deployments.

You will lead technical consultations, ensure implementations align with customer strategy, and collaborate with gTech Ads engineering to deliver effective media activation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers, technical consulting, product management, or solution architecture and project management in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in building proof-of-concepts using web/scripting technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python, etc.) and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Advise sales, EM and clients on maximizing complex product adoption, prioritizing scalable solutions with last-mile customization while reserving bespoke engineering for high-impact business opportunities.
• Lead deep-dive technical consultations and MarTech diagnostic sessions to uncover opportunities for custom solutions, ensuring designs respect industry-specific data constraints and business cycles.
• Act as a trusted advisor providing technical-product oversight during implementation, ensuring the engineering build aligns with customer strategy while deferring base-code decisions to Engineering.
• Provide expert technical recommendations on system architecture, integration strategies, and best practices to internal and external teams.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear system architectures and technical specifications (including server-side GTM, Google Tag Gateway, and CRM integrations) that prioritize scalability, reusability, and media activation.
