Job summary

Google LLC in the United States is seeking a Product Deployment Engineer who will serve as the regional service authority for a specific product area within gTech Ads. You are the bridge between customer needs and what Google has to offer, guiding the deployment of scalable technical solutions.

You will require strong customer engagement skills, translating needs into actionable product strategies and developing high-quality technical-product specifications for complex business issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience building proof-of-concepts using web/scripting technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL databases.
• Experience with system design or reading code in Java, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Engagement Managers to understand customer marketing objectives, infrastructure, first-party data management strategy, and pain points.
• Lead technical assessment sessions to uncover opportunities where bespoke solutions are required, ensuring solutions respect industry-specific data constraints and business-cycles.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs, considering scalability, reusability, and best practices as well as a clear path to media activation.
• Provide technical-product oversight during the implementation phase, ensuring the engineering build remains aligned with the original customer strategy, while delegating base code-level and system-building decisions to the Engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional gTech teams (e.g., Engineering teams, Solution Experts, Measurement Experts) to orchestrate bundled service delivery and ensure seamless customer outcomes.
