Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Demonstrator to bring products to life for customers by offering samples, sharing knowledge and enhancing the shopping experience. You will prepare and present demonstrations, answer questions, and suggest ways to use products to help customers discover favorites.

Ideal candidates are personable, enthusiastic, and eager to share a passion for great products with others. Night & weekend shifts are required, and employment is contingent on a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than six months of similar or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and making interactions positive.
• Prepare product for sampling and offer samples during your shift.
• Answer customer product questions and explain usage with recommendations.
• Organize items for demonstration and ensure supplies are available.
• Stock supplies and keep the demonstration area clean and organized.
• Maintain sanitation procedures throughout the shift.
• Answer phones promptly and provide helpful service to customers.
• Team with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as assigned.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress standards and store policies.
• Report to work on time as scheduled.
