Qualifications

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

Responsibilities

The User Acceptance Testing team works closely with the business to identify, escalation monitor systems issues as well as lead testing activities for each application release. The results of testing activity are then communicated to the stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for complex applications and systems, with a primary focus on Selenium WebDriver using Java and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Enhance and optimize existing Java-based automation frameworks (including Cucumber step definitions and reusable page objects), ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Analyze requirements and create detailed, reusable test cases and BDD feature files (Gherkin) for both UI and API layers.
• Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and ensure defects are logged, tracked, and driven to closure.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on expertise building and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Cucumber BDD (required).
• Solid programming skills with strong proficiency in Java for automation; familiarity with unit test frameworks (e.g., TestNG or JUnit) and build tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Advanced scripting and coding abilities for designing and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, data-driven, and BDD using Cucumber).
