Job description

We’re seeking a Data Product Manager to build and scale data products supporting HR, Talent Acquisition, and the employee lifecycle within a large corporation.

You’ll sit at the intersection of product, data, engineering, and the business, translating complex needs into scalable products with measurable impact. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fluency, understands the underlying data, and can work through technical challenges alongside engineering teams.

This is not a backlog-management or dashboard-focused PM role. It requires ownership of product strategy, technical collaboration, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for HR and TA data products.
  • Partner with business leaders to define problems, prioritize opportunities, and establish success measures.
  • Translate business needs into clear product and data requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and data science teams on product design, technical trade-offs, and delivery.
  • Understand source systems, data models, pipelines, ingestion, and downstream dependencies.
  • Embed data quality, metadata, lineage, governance, and privacy requirements into product development.
  • Identify practical applications for AI/ML and LLM capabilities.
  • Drive product adoption and measure business impact.
Requirements
  • Experience owning data products or technically complex products in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, modeling, pipelines, and analytics architectures.
  • Ability to investigate data issues and work through technical problems with engineering teams.
  • Strong product judgment and a track record of turning ambiguous needs into measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across business, technology, and governance teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Modern ML and big data platforms, data pipelines, and ingestion.
  • Metadata management, cataloging, lineage, and data governance.
  • AI/ML or LLM-powered applications.
  • HR, Talent Acquisition, or employee lifecycle data.
  • Financial services or other highly regulated environments.
  • MBA or master’s degree in a technical discipline.
