Job summary

Rehlko in Wisconsin seeks a Product Associate to drive product costing and cost control within the Power Systems Operations group. You will support cost reporting, variance analysis, and decision-making to improve efficiency across production processes.

Under supervision of the Manager - Finance Power Systems Operations, you will coordinate standard costs, SAP data extraction, and monthly close activities, contributing to accurate financial results and ongoing cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with product costing and cost variance analysis.
• Ability to support monthly accounting close.
• Familiarity with SAP and cost accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of standard costs from information supplied by Engineering, Purchasing, Materials and other Manufacturing personnel.
• Compile information for the monthly and weekly control and analysis of Power Systems Operations spending and performance.
• Responsible for assigning and maintaining WBS elements for New Product development and miscellaneous business activities.
• Assist in the monthly accounting close. Activities include processing journal entries, SAP data extraction, and executing SAP report.

Under the general supervision of the Manager - Finance Power Systems Operations, this Product Associate is responsible for product costing and other financial and accounting control activities within the Power Systems group. This role ensures accurate product cost reporting and cost variance analysis. This Product Cost Accounting Associate will support operational decision-making and contribute to efficiency improvements across production processes.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of standard costs from information supplied by Engineering, Purchasing, Materials and other Manufacturing personnel. This includes coordinating the necessary activities of other departments that need to occur before a standard cost can be calculated, obtaining purchase standards from Purchasing, creating Accounting and Costing views in SAP, and reviewing Bills of Material, routing data and all relevant material master settings for accuracy.
• Compile information for the monthly and weekly control and analysis of Power Systems Operations spending and performance. Activities include data extraction from SAP, spreadsheet data entry, and Excel worksheet manipulation.
• Responsible for assigning and maintaining WBS elements for New Product development and miscellaneous business activities.
• Assist in the monthly accounting close. Activities include processing journal entries, SAP data extraction, and executing SAP report.
