Job summary

Roof Penetration Housing seeks a Product Coordinator in San Antonio, TX to lead materials purchasing, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You’ll partner with Engineering, Sales, and third-party manufacturers to keep customer orders accurate and on time.

To keep up with our growth, we are seeking a Product Coordinator to lead materials purchasing, inventory management, and order fulfillment operations out of our San Antonio, TX facility, coordinating closely with Engineering, Sales, and third party manufacturers to keep customer orders accurate and on time.

About the Role

This role is a Full Time, Hourly role that directly reports to Director of Operations with cross reporting to Ownership. This role will be in-office where day-to-day work will occur at our San Antonio, TX office, Monday through Friday.

This role is based full time at our San Antonio, TX facility and is not expected to require regular travel, though occasional local travel to coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, or transportation providers may be required.

The Product Coordinator keeps RPH's supply chain and order fulfillment running smoothly, from purchasing materials and managing inventory to overseeing warehouse operations and truck deliveries. This person partners daily with Engineering, Sales, and third party manufacturers to resolve product issues, review manufacturing drawings, and make sure every customer order is filled accurately and on time.

Essential Functions

• Purchase materials and products required for RPH operations.
• Oversee the execution of customer order fill and truck deliveries.
• Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Support warehouse operations, including storage and truck loading and unloading.
• Place orders with third party manufacturers to fulfill customer orders.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Partner with Engineering and fabricators to resolve product issues.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and improve production efficiencies.
• Review manufacturing drawings to ensure order fill accuracy.
• Collaborate with the RPH engineering team to support product design improvements.
• Work with the RPH sales team to ensure products meet customer and building code requirements.
• Respond to inventory and technical questions from the RPH customer service team.
• Support product third party testing and certification processes.

Core Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple purchase orders, vendor relationships, and delivery schedules simultaneously.
• You have 3 to 5 successful years as a Product Coordinator, Purchasing Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, or similar role.
• You have a minimum of 4 years of job or military related experience, a Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field degree or a combination of both.
• You have experience with Microsoft Excel and inventory or ERP management systems, and the ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings. NetSuite highly desired.

Details

• The starting compensation range for this position is $24-26 hourly and will be determined based upon a candidate’s experience and location.
• The typical working hours for this position are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday
• This job position is exempt to overtime as determined by the FLSA standards.
• Travel is not expected for this position outside of company events, though occasional travel may be required to coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, or transportation providers.
