Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. is seeking a Product Business Analyst within the Product Management Team to support Product Managers by writing user stories, creating wireframes, educating internal teams on products, and conducting market research.

You will work with cross-functional teams including project managers and developers, participate in SCRUM ceremonies, and help translate business needs into clear requirements and tests.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communications throughout the product development lifecycle to all teams.
  • Initiate and lead interactions among teams to coordinate development, marketing, and support activities.

Job description

Position Summary:

Product Business Analyst within the Product Management Team, is responsible for supporting the team's Product Managers. This includes writing user stories, creating wireframes, educating internal teams on our products, conducting market research, verifying product requirements, and compiling data. You will work with cross‐functional teams (i.e. project managers, developers, etc.), be a member of all SCRUM ceremonies, and vendors in developing product solutions. The Product Business Analyst is part of the Product Management team, consisting of Product Managers and UX/UI Designers, This position will work closely with colleagues in Technology, Research & Development, Sales, Project Management, Client Services, HUB Operations, Quality Assurance, and Marketing. This position reports to the Sr Product Manager at AssistRx.

The Product Business Analyst must be detail oriented, flexible when faced with change, able to manage multiple tasks and projects, skilled at building relationships with internal team members, thrives in a fast paced work environment, and has a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. The Product Business Analyst will have many opportunities to impact business process and company success. This is a highly technical position with accountability for product quality that requires the ability to motivate and educate project team members.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create market and product documentation that accurately reflects user needs and is clearly defined for Development and QA teams (i.e. business requirements, user stories, wireframes, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)
  • Create clear and easy to follow user guides for clients and end-users
  • Share knowledge and organize training for team members
  • Work with product manager to manage potential integration partnerships with external applications
  • Take initiative in tracking, anticipating, and proposing likely industry developments for the organization to stay ahead of customer needs and requirements
  • Facilitate communications throughout the product development lifecycle to all teams
  • Initiate and lead interactions among other teams within AssistRx to ensure coordination of development, marketing, and support activities for our products
Requirements
Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • Passion for making a different in patients' lives and reducing the administrative burden on physician offices
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related discipline)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software development projects
  • Skilled at communicating and working with product managers and technical teams
  • Must have experience creating and writing user stories
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
  • Agile software development experience
  • Experience creating wireframes, business requirements and functional requirements documents
  • Understanding of user experience design principals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to share creative and new ideas
