Qualifications

• BS/MS in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years (BS) or 6+ years (MS) of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with protein characterization, purification, and conjugation required.
• Experience with multiple protein analytical techniques such as SDS-PAGE, Western blot, CE-SDS, SEC, UV-Vis, and IEF/cIEF.
• Familiarity with chromatography techniques (affinity, ion exchange, size-exclusion) and FPLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform reagent characterization to evaluate identity, purity, stability, aggregation, and binding properties.
• Support preparation, purification, and conjugation of critical protein reagents for assay development.
• Conduct protein analytical testing (SDS-PAGE, Western blot, CE-SDS, SEC, UV-Vis, ELISA).
• Support stability studies and explore factors affecting reagent performance.
• Document procedures and results in ELN; summarize findings in reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and reagent needs.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation used for purification and characterization.
